  10. Upgrading from Boma 2.2 beta:
  11. -----------------------------
  12. Delete the file "boma22.top", because the format of that  file
  13. has been changed.

  15. How to install Boma?
  16. --------------------
  17.  
  18. Windows 3.0: First copy the file boma.exe to the Windows direc
  19. tory. Then run the Windows setup program (from within Windows,
  20. not  from  the  dos-prompt).  In  the  'options'  menu  choose
  21. 'Install applications'. Then choose 'Search for applications'.
  22. Finally select 'Boma 2.2'. Windows will do the rest.

  24. Windows 3.1: Follow the procedure explained above, but instead
  25. of  'Search for applications', choose 'Ask you to specify...',
  26. then type 'c:\windows\boma.exe' as command line.

  28. You can install it manually as follows:
  29. (After you copied boma.exe to c:\windows)
  30. 1.  open the group you want it in
  31. 2.  select 'New' from the 'File' menu in the program manager
  32. 3.  choose 'Program'
  33. 4.  type 'c:\windows\boma.exe'
  34.  
  35. I provided 4 icons in Boma.exe.
  36. Select the one you prefer. :-)

  38. About Boma 2.2:
  39. ---------------
  40. The intention of this simple game is to improve your speed and
  41. precision in using the mouse. Release 2.2 now includes  Right-
  42. Button  Boma's, since this button is more frequently  used  in
  43. other applications. You can control the amount of Right-Button
  44. Boma's   in  the  Options  dialog.  The  game-window  is   now
  45. resizable,  when running Boma in a high resolution video  mode
  46. the  window would become too large in comparison with the Boma
  47. bitmaps.
  48. BomaHang  is  written  entirely in Turbo  Pascal  for  Windows
  49. (TPW/Object Windows OOP). In fact, it is based on  "Bonk!",  a
  50. little tutorial program included with TPW. Although Boma is  a
  51. strongly modified version of "Bonk!", the main code is the one
  52. from  that  little  demo program, so to  be  honest:  Portions
  53. (C)1991 Borland.
